Diffusion 6850 - A project of widespread urban art
Mendrisio is enriched with murals that transform urban spaces into open-air canvases. These works, created by international and local artists, tell stories, emotions, and reflections, fostering a dialogue between art and the community. The project reflects the cultural vibrancy of the region, integrating it into an international network of urban art that surprises and inspires both residents and visitors.
Places and themes
The locations chosen for these interventions, combined with the sensitivity of the artists involved, have led to the identification of the four natural elements - earth, fire, water, and air - as the common thread of the project. The first murals, dedicated to earth and water, explore the deep connections between nature and territory, blending symbolism with the urban landscape.
