The Poems & Poets project unites one of the most renowned and established voices on the Italian jazz scene with a classically trained guitarist who is an improviser at heart. It is a meeting of the written and sung word, within an intimate and colorful exploration that traverses the languages of jazz and other forms of music, between composition and improvisation. A journey that brings to light Susanna Stivali's compositional talent and her passion for verse rendered in music. The interplay between words, singing, sounds, and the pursuit of timbre are elements that characterize the performance, within an aesthetic based on essentiality.
