The Mangialonga is the most awaited food and wine event, but also the one most linked to the territory, its products and its actors.

The event on 1 May 2023 will take place along a new route, offering the discovery of paths and landscapes touching the municipalities of Mendrisio, Coldrerio and Castel San Pietro for a total distance of 11 km. The start, scheduled between 08.00 and 11.50 a.m. and organised in groups of 80 people, will take place at the Centro Manifestazioni Mercato Coperto in Mendrisio, where a buvette with local products will be organised throughout the day and until 10.00 p.m.

Compared to the last edition there will be several food and wine novelties. This year there will be two territory integration stops, one at the Coldrerio old people's home and the other at the Fondazione Sant'Angelo di Loverciano in Castel San Pietro.

There will be 11 stops along the route. Some will be organised at the wine cellars of the Parravicini, Trapletti and Fondazione Sant'Angelo di Loverciano producers, while one is planned at the Colle degli Ulivi. Among the novelties of the 2023 edition is also the presence of new producers, associations and musicians. These include Cantina Fumagalli, Gabbani SA, Fondazione Sant'Angelo di Loverciano, Casa anziani Coldrerio, Gruppo ricreativo SAM Mendrisio, Nuoto Mendrisiotto and AS Coldrerio.

Price: CHF 60.- for adults, CHF 40.- for children from 6 to 17 years and is free for children up to 6 years.
The price includes rail transport from all Ticino stations to Mendrisio and return
