Cavea Festival

From August 28 to 30, 2026, the spectacular Arzo Caves will once again be transformed into a natural amphitheater where music, nature, and culture meet: three days immersed in a unique setting, including live music, DJ sets, food trucks, shows, guided tours, family activities, and an atmosphere that enhances one of the most fascinating sites in the Mendrisiotto region.

Among the highlights of the 2026 edition is the concert on Saturday, August 29 by Patagarri, one of the most popular Italian bands of the moment, with their captivating mix of gypsy jazz, swing, and Balkan sounds. Also taking the stage will be MATILDE, one of the most exciting emerging pop voices on the Ticino scene. DJ MAMIPAPI, a Ticino duo bringing the warmth of Latin sounds to the quarries, will close the event. The opening event, starting at 6:00 PM, will feature Open Mic Ticino, with a performance from the Side Stage by around twenty emerging singer-songwriter bands.

This year's big news will be Friday, dedicated to REWIND 80s, a huge party dedicated to '80s music in collaboration with Radio Gwen. The program will round out with Brunch in the Cavea on Sunday, August 30th, hosted by Ca.Stella Bistrot in Meride, featuring live music and a variety of activities for all ages, making Cavea Festival an event capable of uniting generations, languages, and passions in a truly unforgettable setting.
